France
Normandy (Port-En-Bessin):
This chateau, formerly an 18th century Chateau, is a luxurious and classically French hotel located in northern Normandy. Comprised of 29 elegantly appointed rooms with modern amenities, the hotel sits on a beautiful estate with mature gardens and its own parkland. The hotel's stylish restaurant, which is open for breakfast and dinner, serves delicious regional cuisine using fresh local ingredients. The restaurant also boasts an extensive wine list - an added bonus for lovers of French wine. Guests can enjoy delightful aperitifs or digestifs at the hotel's cozy cellar bar, Zanzibar.
There are many tourist attractions in close proximity to the hotel. Omaha Beach, where American forces landed on D Day in 1944, and the quaint medieval town of Bayeux, known for its tapestries and Gothic cathedral dating the to 13th century, are both less than 10 km away. Also nearby is one of the world's wonders, Mont St. Michel, and the coastal towns of Honfleur and Deauville.

Paris:
This Left Bank hotel has a wonderful location just across the Seine from Notre Dame Cathedral and very close to the Boulevard St. Germain, the heart of the Latin Quarter (5th Arrondissement). From the moment one enters this 19th century mansion, one is struck by the warmth of the welcome as well as the cozy feeling of the reception rooms. There are fresh flowers and, during cooler months, a fireplace to enjoy while having a drink from the unobtrusive bar. There are many antique furnishings, and bountiful breakfast is served in the hotel's magnificent vaulted cellar. Guest rooms are not huge and presently the predominant color is blue. Rooms are scheduled to be "refreshed" during the winter of 2008. Each one has a marble bathroom and all modern amenities including satellite television, in-room internet connection, and mini bar. Guests can even choose the pillow they prefer from the hotel's pillow menu offering eight different types of pillow! In addition to the double rooms, there are two suites suitable for GP!CT and one duplex that GP!CT does not recommend for this reason: there is a small spiral staircase going from the bedroom to the lower level (like a basement) where the sitting room is located. The staff is friendly and willing to answer questions, make arrangements, and assist with restaurant decisions and such. Speaking of restaurants, worth a visit are La Maison around the corner owned by the entertaining Claude, who with his ever-present bulldog Polo, serves outside in warm weather and inside the cozy restaurant in winter. Across the street from the hotel, an excellent restaurant called Toustem opened in the summer of 2007. It is owned by the only female French chef to have earned two Michelin stars (although she does not work in this restaurant).

Paris:
Built in 1809 and perfectly located on the Rue de la Paix just steps from the Place Vendome in the heart of Paris, this hotel's discrete entrance takes one into a warm and wonderful environment where every member of staff speaks, smiles and offers assistance. The well-furnished lobby leads to a paneled bar with leather furniture and the feeling of a private club. Lunch is available in Dukes Bar for those wishing lighter fare. Beyond the bar is the hotel's Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant Le Celadon where both the cuisine and service are impeccable. The restaurant is also the venue for the buffet breakfast which offers far more than just croissants and coffee.
On the fifth floor, a fitness center is tucked into a wonderful space with large glass windows providing plenty of light. There is a small relax room, steam bath, sauna and a massage room will be available in 2009. Orlane beauty treatments can be arranged. There are antique furnishings and original art throughout the hotel. Rooms are spacious and the Vendome suites connect to a large double room for a very spacious two-bedroom suite. There are connecting rooms for families not seeking a suite. The hotel also has a Presidential Suite. Some accommodations face the Rue de la Paix without the noise from the street due to double paned windows. Other rooms face a quiet interior courtyard garden.
